Nothing honest about this business

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with this company. They charged me $300 to mount tires on my vehicle that I had purchased elsewhere and other companies were gonna charge me $70 to $80 but I wish I would’ve asked before I brought my vehicle there but I trusted that they would’ve told me they were gonna be triple the price before they put the tires on. A few days later I brought my vehicle back because the tire sensor wasn’t working and AJ wanted to charge me $280 which is triple the amount 2 other shops would charge me. The other shops are $100. AJ then stated that they had my sensors reading on the wrong tires. I will take my business elsewhere for now on. Very unprofessional and (DIS) Honest place. Please check other places before agreeing to get work done at this business. I recommend not giving them your business.

Good communication, good turn around time vs others. Took my 76 year old mothers car for an intermittent no start. They quickly diagnosed a bad starter and some other parts they insisted were causing the issue. We paid over 1600 and had the same problem the next day. Turned out it was the key FOB battery was dead and not allowing push to start. One would think that would be the 1st thing to check but...

We had an unfortunate breakdown and as luck would have it, AAA towed us to them!! These guys were so professional and knowledgeable and got us back to VA! We highly recommend the crew at Honest 1 in Deltona!!! Turned out it was the ignition button! Thankfully they found the problem!

I gotta say, I’ve been to lots of repair shops over the years but this was the most impressive. Everything about the experience was like no other. The staff was amazing the facility was comfortable with every detail down to snacks Wi-Fi and conveniences. They’ve went the extra mile to put the customer first. From the diagnostics report to communication with us, I was overly impressed. I wish every repair shop was this good, it’s not often you find a place like this.

This place lived up to their name and treated my mother right where is another shop and gave her a price that was twice as much

We brought my car in for a tire rotation and diag. They failed to take note of us needing a tire rotation and didn’t do it, which is fine because they didn’t charge us. They charged an outrageous $200 for the diag, and kept my car over night. They called us the next day and let us know their diagnosis was inconclusive, so we went to pick up the vehicle. That same afternoon I looked at my spark plugs and noticed a ton of oil all over them, if they really had taken a thorough look at my car they would have caught it. I had to call another mechanic to come diagnose my car, and he only charged me $50 and found the exact issue within an hour and a half. Overall my experience with Honest Auto was quite poor and extremely overpriced. Diags shouldn’t cost $200 especially when they have tablets and stuff to read the exact problem. Plus they said they couldn’t find anything wrong and just taking my car home I found oil in the engine head and several other problems just from looking myself. I would reccomend taking your business elsewhere. I used Advanced Mobile Mechanic and he was cheaper and way more honest.

1st of all, I would like to thank Jen, Andrew, Jerome, AJ, and the rest of the staff @ Honest-1 Deltona. For over 30+ years of dealerships, other auto repair shops, they are the BEST hands down. Went in my 1st time for a new tire, and instead of charging me $200.00 for 2 tires, they sent me down the road and I got 2 tires for $20.00. They could've took the $ and replaced the tires, but they are HONEST. They recently fixed a big issue with my SUV, and were super professional from beginning to end. They made ME feel important and not just another #. They all went out of their way to make sure that my vehicle was perfect, and it rides better then ever. I can go on and on, but just do yourself a huge favor, stop in, and you will instantly understand what true caring people that they really are. All my business will be done by HONEST-1.

Jerome is awesome. My girlfriend recently broke down while on vacation. Jerome went above and beyond to put her at ease. He was able to work her in quickly, and save the vacation for her and the kids. Huge shout out to Jerome!
